§ 1.
General information

  1. These Terms and Conditions apply to the event „Kroje” which consist of:
    1. typographic conference and
    2. workshops, that accompany the conference mentioned above in point a).

    – hereinafter together reffered to as „Kroje”.

  2. Kroje is organised by the Agora S.A. with its registered office in Warsaw, Czerska 8/10, 00-732 Warsaw, entered into the Register of Business Entities of the National Court Register (KRS) under KRS number 59944, Tax Identification Number (NIP) 5260305644, REGON number 011559486 share capital in the amount of PLN 46,580,831 (hereinafter reffered to as „Organizer”).
  3. Conference participants are obliged to follow Conference Terms and Conditions.

§ 2.
The organisation

  1. The participation in „Kroje”, both the conference and the workshops, is paid separately. The fee is to be paid for each workshop chosen . Participants should obtain the ticket for the event and cover other expenses (such as transportation, accommodation, etc.) by own means.
  2. Latest information from the Organizer, concerning „Kroje” (including information about the agenda, speakers, details about the date and location and any other changes in this respect) can be found at www.kroje.xyz (hereinafter reffered to as „Kroje website”).
  3. The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the event agenda for reasons beyond the control of the Organizer, in particular to the speakers’ list and workshops’ instructors list. The Organizer will inform Participants about any changes regarding the agenda. The information will be sent by email at the email address provided during registration. If significant changes occur, such as alterations of date, location or speakers’ list, Participant is entitled to full reimbursement of ticket costs. If the date changes, Participant can either attend the event or apply for full reimbursement provided they request it not later than two days before Kroje.
  4. The number of participants is limited and dependent on the decision of the Organizer. Participation in Kroje depends on the order of the ticket purchase.
  5. Tickets are sold only through online ticketing platform Co Jest Grane 24 available at https://bilety.cojestgrane24.pl (hereinafter reffered to as „Bileteria”).
  6. Ticket purchase will end one day before the Kroje start date.
  7. Only Participants with a valid ticket are allowed to attend the event. Participant is obliged to print the ticket beforehand or present it on a mobile device before entering the Kroje event area.
  8. Ticket will be exchanged for a badge at the entrance. Loss or damage of the badge may prevent from taking part in Kroje.
  9. The Organizer have the right to donate free tickets to any chosen individuals or entities and provide custom ticket discounts.
  10. Procedure in the event of a ticket cancellation, reimbursement demand in case of cancellation or due to significant changes in the Kroje agenda, is specified in Bileteria Terms and Conditions, available on the Bileteria website.
  11. Any materials presented or given during the event are subject to the copyright and legal protection. Recording, copying, distributing, modifying, transferring, printing, displaying in public of the given materials without prior consent of the Organizer is forbidden.
  12. Events during the conference or the workshops may be recorded and photographed. The Organizer, sponsors and partners may use the image of the Participants acquired during the event, when distributing videos and pictures.

§ 3.
Participants’ image and personal data

  1. The image of the Participants may be recorded and later on distributed for marketing, advertising and promotional purposes of the Organizer. Taking part in the event constitute consent for recording, storing, processing and distributing the image acquired during the Kroje event.
  2. The Organizer is the data controller of the Kroje Participants’ personal data. Participants’ personal data will be processed by the Organizer for the purpose of preparing and performing the Kroje event and also for purposes indicated in point 3) below.
  3. Kroje Participants’ personal data will be processed for the purpose of the legitimate interests pursued by the Organizer, i.e. promotion and direct marketing of his own products and services. These activities – dependent on its form – will be performed provided that the Participant will give a separate consent in line with the Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means and provisions of the Telecommunications Law.
  4. Participant have the right to: access the content of the personal data, demand rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, transfer it to another controller and object to the processing, as well as to file a complaint with a relevant supervisory authority. The consent on the basis of which some of the data is processed can be withdrawn at any time by contacting the Organizer. Providing data is voluntary, however essential to take part in the Kroje event.

§ 4.
Final provisions

  1. The Organizer shall not be responsible for all views presented during the conference and the workshops.
  2. Each Participant is obliged to respect the safety rules, health and safety and fire regulations that are in force in the building where the event takes place.
  3. The Organizer shall not be responsible for personal belongings of the Participants’ that have been lost, damaged or stolen at any time during the Kroje event.
  4. The Kroje event Participant shall take full financial responsibility for destruction and damage he causes at any time during the Kroje event.
  5. The Organizer shall not be responsible for any harm caused to the Participant due to a force majeure. Force majeure includes an event or combination of events or circumstances, independent of the Organizer, which hinder or make it impossible to perform the Organizer’s obligations and which the Organizer could not have predicted or prevented through acting with due diligence.
  6. In the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy between the English version and Polish version of this Terms and Conditions, the Polish language version shall prevail.
